Dr. Dianne Genereux – Veterinarian

Dianne graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 1995. She has had the opportunity to gain experience in numerous small animal clinics by working initially full-time in the northeast of Calgary, then locuming (relief work) around Calgary before finally settling in Okotoks. She feels she has not only learned different ways to practice medicine but also various ways to run a clinic. She is the sole owner of the Animal Care Centre and while she finds it challenging some days to run the clinic as well as be the veterinarian she wouldn’t change where her path has led her. She believes strongly in high quality veterinary food to keep pets healthy and at their best through all their life stages. Another passion is in senior medicine and knowing we can make a huge difference in quality of life with our older pets. Her spare time is spent going to spin classes and working out as well as caring for her husband, teenage son, two dogs (Bull Mastiff and Miniature Schnauzer) as well as two cats. When she can, Dianne loves to travel and on her bucket list is to get to Greece, the Maldives and Bora...

Heather – Registered Veterinary Technologist

Heather has always had a love for animals.  She was born and raised in Saskatchewan and completed the Veterinary Technician program in 2001.  She made the move to Okotoks in 2014 from Fort McMurray with her husband and two kids and quickly made it home.  They have a quite the variety of pets with a hamster, guinea pig, crested gecko and their dog Bailey.

Joanna – Reception

Joanna has had a love of animals since a young age and has always had a cat or two in the house. When she moved to Calgary from England she adopted her first dog – a Golden Retriever and her love affair with dogs began. Joanna has spent many years volunteering with Rescue organisations and this is where her desire to work in the animal industry began. She completed her Veterinary office Assistant program at Robetson College and loves every day that she gets to help animals and their owners. In her spare time, Joanna enjoys hiking,  spending time in the mountains with her family and walking her dog by the river....

Nicole was born and raised in Calgary and moved to the Foothills area in 2010. Nicole has two daughters, two dogs, two cats and five horses that keep them busy.
